Two off on their way

Well Rebecca and Jonathan have left for LETU. It is hard to believe that summer is over and school has begun. Yet, time and calendars do not lie,nor do they wait for anyone. Of course I end the summer with a nasty cold and cough...the kind where you just droop around the house trying to figure out what you are doing. This next Mon. I take college kid 4 off to APU for her junior/senior year. Can't believe that there will be 4 off at school....1 attending the local college and finishing his senior year in HS. Where have the years gone to.? I am so proud and yet so puzzled how they all seem to survive growing up.
It is time to start getting ready for fair. Entries and gardens and booths to build and fill. As well as classes to start and books to complete. Challenges...that is what makes it important to get up and see what the day has to offer.
Challenge for today.
Are you living life by the clock or the compass? "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life" John 14:6 It is the compass that should lead us in the right direction (way), to do the right thing (truth), and have the right priorities (kingdom focus) The clock only races ahead of us...making us long for more time in a day, but the compass shows us where to go next, guiding and leading each step.

Can't believe summer is almost over. Where did it go??? Seems like just yesterday Rachel was getting married ... how time flies when we aren't looking. Just a few things have filled the summer calendar. Physical therapy 3 times a week for a hour or two took up most of the squares....then raising animals, a new dog, swimming, 4H camp, awards banquets, home bible studies, a new roof on a house in LaHonda, some new jobs for college kids, cooking, cleaning, shopping.....just to mention a few. After Aug.13 (Rebecca's big shin dig) I will post some pictures of the remodel of the back yard as well....which is what is taking up time at this moment. Just finished submitting fair entries for Sept. And life goes on and on and on and on....
