Feb. Already??

Time for an update. It seems that I have asked my girls to update their blogs without showing them how this is done. So being rightly reprimanded, I blog. Jan. is now completely gone and Feb. is half way gone as well. Grandmom Strube (my Mom) came out for a long visit...all went well...she did not get sick...die of food poisoning....or fall or in any other way damage herself. We enjoyed seeing her and she enjoyed seeing where we live and all the things we do.
In Jan. the dog was let out by some stranger and set free while we were in church....thus, she was found the next day and taken to the puppy jail (pound) where upon she was examined and found to be with microchip. After the puppy patrol made this discovery, they called the wayward owner who rejoiced gladly and went and bailed her out of puppy prison. To the tune of $50. plus it was made clear to her current owner that she now has a record. Such shame has been brought into our family....hide it in the closet.
We have also survived another two....I mean two....swim meets. Rebecca showed off the family skill and coordination swimmingly. From the last swim meet she only brought home 4 blue ribbons and an new B time....and that was after only participating for one day.
Feb. is the month of love. With valentines and our anniversary....what is not to celebrate. Oh and yes, we did take out some time to have David...on the 20th. So here we are years later and still hanging around each other... some call it commitment....and I would have to agree. Even through rough, dry, slow, times as well as fast, romantic, and adventurous times God has kept us together.....as only he can. So, if your young and feeling romantic...words of wisdom from the old "Make sure God is in the middle of your relationship...he is the glue and the icing on the cake"
Feb. must also be the "smart club" month. Larry, Rebecca and Daniel have enrolled at the local community college to take a C++ programming class. I am sure they would like to get a C++ in the class if not better. All seems to be going well, homework done, bike riding to and from class, even an occasional laugh here and there. Daniel and Rebecca also enrolled at the local red cross and took and passed their CPR and first aid class. Now when I fall over from a heart attack they should know what to do...
Need to close this now as I need a shower, to check on kids, and to get ready for church tonight. It is a presentation from Jews for Jesus. As life continues, and days go bye, I pray that you will be drawn by Gods love and power, to a true understanding of who he is, and thereby worship him with all your heart, your soul, and mind.
