Jan. 9th doom

Well we will try this one more time. The new year has started out with a bang, the big bad flu, cold bang. It seems to have been able to take down the whole Gullman family with one weekend spent together in close quarters in the camper. Of course, it is the great Gullman luck that it is the weekend that we are sending college kids off so they can infect their campuses and friends. BEWARE. Well I warned you...Most of the trip was great..Death Valley (rain and snow) ask someone about the mud! Off to see a ghost town, then on to Las Vegas. We had a great KOA campground there and David had driven the van to town so we had transportation to be able to go sightseeing while Dad worked the CES show. We went to a chocolate factory...and then to WalMart and Smart and Final, to see the pyramid bldg....Exchalibur....and some other Vegas sights on the strip. We of course, had snow falling down, followed by rain. Then off to APU to drop Julie....had to stop for two new tires....more rain and down pours. Then Larry and I went to eat with Dr. Lo (authentic Chinese restaurant). We had many dishes, chicken feet and fish stomach soup were just two of them. Tofu custard for desert...Yuck! Basically I was told it was best not to ask what I was eating...How true. Then off to take Rachel and Jonathan to San Jose to catch a flight to TX to start school. Hopefully you kids will get well soon!!!
Now we are all home sick in bed. Resting and trying to get well since Grandmom comes for a visit tomorrow night. And of course there is just more liquid sunshine pouring down on us. Where does it all come from and when will it stop??? The age old question.....
