Well today marks the one week before the "Big day of the month!" So keep posted and you can see what the "Big Day" is all about.
Jan. so far has been full and some fun as well. First the family went to Tahoe for the snow. We stayed just one day at the cabin...it took almost a whole day to get there...and a long day to take Larry to Reno airport and drive home the next day. Going found us in pouring rain which changed to slush, then to snow. Of course we then had to put chains on. Now for those of you who drive in this kind of weather...this is our one and only time of year to drive or should I say slide around on icy roads. Sledding, snowboarding, throwing snowballs, slipping and falling became the activities of the day while in Tahoe. In the evening it was games and hot chocolate for all. Dad went to the Reno airport to fly to Las Vegas....the annual CES show.
After the rest of the family arrived home it was two days of getting some work done, shopping for school stuff, washing clothes, putting Christmas away before Jonathan and Julie left for school.
The next week was filled with a school appointment, finishing up college applications, Daniel and Rebecca taking the college assessment test, speech, and we can never leave out the swimming practice. Zones, one of the biggest meets is this weekend. Dad has now gone to La Honda to work on redoing MSB office, then either home for church Sat. or zones on Sun. When he is done at Zones on Sun...he will go and help Michael with his house renovation so he can hopefully sell it soon. Then home for another exciting week at the Gullman home!
Next week brings two birthdays for family members....I will let you guess which ones. For now I must go and plan for the weekend....sitting in the cold....watching races....feeding hungry mouths...that sort of thing.
